Fave Tools ~

  • Vitamix: Powerful high-speed blender. Great for: soups, batters, creams, sauces, smoothies, etc.
    • I have and like this one! Older models are really good, too!
      • Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Smart Blender, Professional-Grade, 64 oz.
  • Prepworks Mandoline
  • Paderno 3 Blade Spiralizer & Vegetable Slicer. Recommended by many raw vegans!
  • Food Processors: A countertop appliance with multiple blade attachments designed to help you chop, slice, grate, grind, blend, or mix, depending on your needs.
    • I use these daily – more than any other tool. I couldn’t live without it.  They really save you time and effort!
    • You can find cheaper used versions at thrift stores or ebay!
      • 14 c. large food processor. I really like this one, especially for making huge portions enough for several meals or days!  I love it especially for shredded salads (slaws) and blending veggies, like plantains, into a batter!

      • 8 c. food processor. This is a great size!
        Elemental 8 Cup Food Processor
      • Small 4 c. food processors — I also use a lot. They are indispensable for sauces!
        Mini-Prep Plus 4 Cup Food Processor
  • Instapot: An electric countertop combination pressure/slow cooker, air fryer. Many on the AIP diet swear by these. I have one but haven’t used it much yet. I hope to in the near future!
  • Genetic and Gut Testing ~
    • Max Gen Labs DNA Testing
    • Stacy (Real World AIP) likes this testing over 23 and me because:
      1) They destroy your DNA and don’t share it.
      2) Quick turn around time.
      3) They personally write each report.
      4) They offer dietary options in each report.
      5) They’re not a corporate lab. They are a small operation.
